Free Database Creation Software

Create New Databases the Quick and Easy Way

How to install:

  • Save the file on your computer. Note: the file is 50 Meg because it includes both the Worksheet Database and the free version of Microsoft Access. So it may take a minute or so to download.
  • Click-on and run the setup program.
  • There will be a shortcut titled Worksheet Database both on your desktop and in your start menu. Just click on either shortcut.

System Requirements:

Windows XP or above with the current service packs installed.

Backup and Uninstall Instructions:

Backup: The database itself will be saved in your My Documents folder, in a sub-folder called Worksheet Database. Be sure to backup all three files.

Uninstall: Uninstall the Worksheet Database from the control panel, as you would uninstall any other program.

Q: What is the difference between the Free and Registered versions of the software?

A: Both the free and the registered version of the software allow you to easily create, manage and use hundreds of worksheets/databases. The free version allows you to enter up to 15 rows (database records) of information on each worksheet. The paid version does not have this limitation.

Download and install the Worksheet Database, run the software, and then click Templates in the Main Menu. Select The Multi-Taskers Task Manager and click Open. It’s that easy.

Using The System

This database program is meant for use in keeping up with the things you have to do from day to day and week to week. You can easily update and maintain your list on an as needed basis. Even if you’re extremely busy and have a lot on your plate, it’s likely that when you print your list, it will fit on one side of one piece of paper. (That’s just one aspect of how truly great and easy to use this program really is.)

From left to right, click P if the project (or tasks within) are priority tasks. Enter the project name and up to three tasks for each project. The “For” field is where you type in your customer’s (or whoever’s) name. There’s also a place to type in a comment, and a date field with a calendar that pops-out to make it easy to enter a due date or a “next action” due date.

Note that ALL text fields are drop-downs. As you type new tasks, etc., into the database, what you type in becomes automatically available for each drop-down.

Getting on top of Overdue Debt

Managing and Organizing Overdue Bills

Behind on your bills? Worried about collection agencies and the utility companies? Getting organized is half the battle.

The other half of the battle has to do with gathering up the necessary moxie to get things worked out with with your creditors. Call them, let them know when you’ll be able to pay and (of course) keep your promise to them.

One of the templates that comes with the Worksheet Database (a free download) is the Overdue Debt Manger. It’s a great place to keep track of the amounts of and payment arrangements for overdue bills. It is extremely easy to use and this program will help to reduce your frustration level.

Entering Multiple Lines of Text in a Text Field

Entering Multiple Lines of Text in the Same Cell

I’m sure you’ve noticed that when you press the Enter key on your keyboard, you’re taken to the next cell in your workbook. Text fields hold 255 characters of data. If you want to enter multiple lines of text, press <Control> <Enter>.

Tip: you can make the cells on your worksheet taller by clicking and dragging on one of the lines between rows on the left-hand-side of your worksheet. Unline Excel, all rows will be re-sized to this new height.

Another Tip: To reset the row height and width to their default values, click on Reset Row/Column size in the main menu. You will probably want to go back and re-size some of the rows and columns in your worksheet after doing so.
